I have had a few requests for N-Teleportation, I did not want to add the plugin because I have seen it get to OP. But I’m going to give it a shot. I also added No Escape to help keep it from getting to OP. So if you are in combat or Raiding you will not be able to use the teleport plugin for 4 minutes from last combat or Raid detection. I am also still setting some things up in the settings of the plugin so some things could change.
Also if you have any suggestions please let me know in the comment section or forums or Discord.
I turned Decay on in the X5 gather server and is going well. So I will be turning Decay on the Solo Duo Trio server as well.
I will do that on the next wipe on 10/04/18
Update:: I got the map back. So everything should be restored.
Hey all, My host Updated my VDS Server for my Solo Duo Trio Rust server, And it was not supposed to mess with my data. But I just got home and found the server was wiped.
So to not lose all progress my host is restoring from backup from the 11th so We will lose a couple days. Sorry about that.
The last time they updated, The same thing happened and they said it should not have happened.
No traffic at all on the Vanilla server. So now I’m trying Modded with plugins for fun. It is 5X gather with Bigger stacking and Events also added Gyrocopter for fun.
Please suggest what plugins you would like. Plugins I will not add are TP, And Remover Tool
Update Seems RustIO search will not get our server. So here is the link to RustIO Map
Updated RustIO and now it’s not working, I’m hoping when Oxide updates on my host it will be fixed. So, for now, we are without RustIO I will keep trying to get it working.
Sorry about that.
We added a Vanilla Rust server today, It’s a small pop server. let’s see if we can get anyone playing on a vanilla server.
here is the server info. IP:188.8.131.52:28241
The Hidden Source and Day Of Defeat Source, Just in case you were looking for those servers I have Removed them to make more room for our Rust server. Both of those servers were pretty dead anyway.
So that made room to upgrade the Rust server. We went from 50pop to 250pop and stopped the Random reboots of the Rust server.
And sorry for the Last unscheduled Wipe of the Rust server last month, I and my host tried to fix the problem but we were forced to wipe the server and start over.
Hopefully, we will not run into that again.
Rust server updated, But with Oxide installed it will not start. So until we get a fix we will have to run without. Decay will be in effect so Make sure your Cupboards have what they need to keep your base from decaying. Sorry, I tried 5 times to get it to run.
Update: This sucks but I have been trying to figure out why oxide will not let server start with the help of my host and we can not figure it out.
So we will have to do a Wipe of the server reinstall all as new and start over. Sorry
Update: Plugins have been installed and the server is back to normal. But let me know if I have forgotten something
Still getting multiple server restarts due to high memory usage. So now I have removed all except for one plugin and that one is No decay. I will start putting them back in one at a time during the next few days if the server is not being restarted. I’m also wondering if our corrupt map that we have since the last wipe maybe that’s whats causing the high memory usage I’m not sure.
Thursday is the next wipe and I will be home when the wipe happens and I will be able to check out the map to make sure we don’t get a corrupt map again.
Sorry for all the trouble this month.
UPDATE:: I think we have it fixed. We had to upgrade from 50 max players to 250 and that boosted up my max memory usage to 8500 MB so we should not get any reboots for going over 3500MB
Hi All, we will have some server downtime on 11-30-17 due to Host Hardware being moved to New cabinets. This will happen in this time frame On November 30, between approximately midnight and 10 am CST,
So we could be down a few hours.
Here is the notice from my host.
“Our facilities provider in Chicago, Internap, is requiring that we move several cabinets’ worth of gear in this facility over to new cabinets. We have been planning these moves for the last month and coordinating with Internap to try to make them as smooth as possible. We have done such moves successfully many times in the past.
We have moved other cabinets already, over the course of several mornings (we are doing them early in the morning to minimize customer impact). On November 30, between approximately midnight and 10 am CST, we plan to move the equipment in the cabinet hosting your specific service. This means that you will see your service gracefully shut down at some point during the window (close to the beginning of it), and boot back up later in the window (as soon as we have finished moving all of the gear — at least several hours later).
We will be taking every precaution to be as careful as we can with your hardware. However, there is always the possibility that a hardware problem will be revealed by the move. Because of this, we strongly recommend that you back up any irreplaceable data that you may have stored on the server.
If you require very high levels of uptime and the hours of downtime will cause problems for you on the 30th, please contact us, and we can investigate how we can help, such as by providing a temporary service or moving you to other hardware. (While most of our cabinets in Chicago will need to be moved, a couple will remain in place, and those will only see downtime when our router is migrated this same morning — likely less than 60 minutes.)”
